The 4th Annual Will Dunniway & Friends Collodion ‘Dirty Hand’ Yosemite Valley Workshop.

$850. No lab fee. Housing and food at cost and extra. Estimate $100 a day. Lodge inside the Yosemite NP has been rented for this group. Completely different views with the Fall seasons.

Offering for the first time a * Complete wet plate collodion starter kit for beginners. Offered only at the process workshops in Corona, CA by request one week in advance: See list below schedule. Starter collodion kit $340 Not available to students that are flying. Collodion kits cannot be shipped.

Wet Plate Collodion starter kit.
The kit includes the following:
500 mls of ready to pour Ol’ Workhorse Collodion.
1000 mls of 9% silver nitrate bath solution all ready to sensitize your plate
3,000 ml of ferrous sulfate developer ready to use.
3,000 ml worth of fixing solution.
250 mls of gum sandarac varnish.
12, 5×7 “peel & pour” plates
4 oz whiting glass cleaner.
Also available: Triple scale sp. gr. hydrometer and glass cylinder for calibrating and maintaining the silver bath for an extra $20.
Note. Costs will increase if silver nitrate continues to increase. Cost of silver nitrate as of 4/24/2013 was $24 oz. = $391 lb. Collodion and all salts are on the rise too
