Wet Plate Collodion starter kit.
The kit includes the following:
300 mls of ready to pour Ol’ Workhorse Collodion.
1000 mls of 9% silver nitrate bath solution all ready to sensitize your plate
3,000 ml of ferrous sulfate developer ready to use.
3,000 ml worth of fixing solution.
200 mls of gum sandarac varnish.
12, 5×7 “peel & pour” plates
8 oz whiting glass cleaner.
Also available: Triple scale sp. gr. hydrometer and glass cylinder for calibrating and maintaining the silver bath for an extra $20.
Note. Costs will increase if silver nitrate continues to increase. Cost of silver nitrate as of 11/19/2011was $32 oz. = $512 lb. Collodion and all salts are on the rise too
